We have old paper tickets with days remaining on them. They are of sentimental value so we've never converted them to RFID tickets. Is it possible to convert them and still keep the paper ticket as a keepsake? They were from the trip when we got engaged

    Hi there, Lisa!

I love that you have some of the old paper tickets with remaining days from your engagement trip! How very special!

In my experience, when I've had Park tickets converted to an RFID card, I've been given my paper ticket back. The Cast Member simply moved the remaining days over to the RFID card causing the paper ticket to be null. In fact, I've made a couple of shadow boxes using some of our old tickets and it's really fun to see the changes over the years. I recommend that when you go to have your tickets changed over, simply let the Cast Member know before you hand over your paper tickets that they are very sentimental to you and that you'd like them back. I'm quite certain that they will do everything they can to make sure you're able to keep them.

Thanks so much for stopping by with your great question and please don't hesitate to write back in if we can help with any others.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
