MagicBand+ to the parks, guests have been unlocking extra magic and enhanced enchantments around every corner. These magical accessories can be used to enter the parks (with valid admission and reservation), check in at Lightning Lane entrances for guests who have purchased
Lightning Lane passes, and even interact with nighttime spectaculars in new ways.
You're absolutely right, Brady—only MagicBand+ works its magic at the Disneyland Resort. Think of it as the newest, shiniest key to unlocking all the pixie dust! Those MagicBand or MagicBand 2 accessories you got back in 2015 at the Walt Disney World Resort are still super cool souvenirs, but they won't quite work the same magic here. And while there’s no formal upgrade program, I've got an extra tip for you. Sometimes you can find discounts on MagicBand+ accessories either
online at the Disney Store or at the
shops around the Disneyland Resort. Availability and discounts can change, so keep checking back to see if your favorite design goes on sale.
