My old magic bands have a whitish finish to them I can get rid of. I have washed them with soap and water but it doesn't work. Is there any way to make them look as good as new?

    Hi, Katherine!

Some of my MagicBands have had the same fate with the white haze. The MagicBands that we swam with at Stormalong Bay at the Beach Club seemed to have the most weathering. I don't know if it is from the pool chemicals, the sun, or a combination. Unfortunately, there is not a lot you can do. Look at it as having that "worn in" look of an experienced Disney traveler!

The good news is that this will not change the effectiveness of your MagicBand. If you are staying on property for your next vacation, new MagicBands will be delivered to you at no charge.

If you want to get creative, check Etsy or any crafty website for ideas on how to decorate your MagicBands. My daughter covered one of my bands with rhinestones then glossed over it with clear nail polish. My blingy MagicBand is quite fun and unique!

Good luck getting creative with your MagicBand!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
