Will my old magic band from 3 years ago still work.

Hi Michelle! Those MagicBands make the perfect accessory for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Not only are they a great way to show off your Disney favorites, but they are practical as a vacation tool! Your MagicBand can be used to open your resort room door, make charges as you shop and dine, capture Disney PhotoPass images, and enter the Disney Parks when linked with valid theme park admission!

MagicBands should last for at least two years. While some Guests report MagicBands lasting longer (as much as 3-to-5 years), I usually replace my MagicBands after the recommended two years. I’d rather not risk arriving at the park entrance or resort room and find that my MagicBand is no longer working. It’s also a great excuse to add to my MagicBand collection!

Michelle, I recently purchased my first MagicBand+. A great upgrade is that MagicBand+ is rechargeable! The MagicBand+ comes with a charging cable. You just need to plug it into a compatible charging brick and your MagicBand+ can be used repeatedly during your Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

You can find a selection of MagicBands (and MagicBand+) on shopDisney.com or at gift shops at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels and theme parks!

    Dreams do come true!
