How old should kids be for their first visit to Disney?

    Dear Terri,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It is a pleasure to answer your first question, which is also a very popular one. Friends and family ask me all the time how old a child should be for their first visit. My answer is always the same: they can be any age! From babies and toddlers to the young at heart, the Walt Disney World Resort welcomes Guests of all ages.

There are wonderful experiences and special offers created just for you. Are you familiar with a new travel trend called Kindermoon? If you have a little one, this is the perfect way to celebrate that very special time right before they start kindergarten and become a “big kid”. If you like this trend as much as I do, then I suggest taking advantage of the current Kindermoon special offer. Celebrate this milestone with over 80 attractions, shows and experiences for little ones across all 4 theme parks. In addition, you can rent strollers throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, and use the Baby Care Centers.

One final tip: use Rider Switch! This is a great feature that allows adult Guests to take turns taking care of little ones unable to ride an attraction.

I hope you will consider taking your little ones on an unforgettable journey to the Walt Disney World Resort. Please come back with more questions!

    Have a magical day!
