Does the Old Key West resort provide life jackets for children near the pool areas? Or should be pack our own?

Hi Tracy, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I hope I can free up some room in your suitcase for the few many extra Disney souvenirs you will likely want to bring home. There is no need to worry about packing life jackets for your children. Complimentary life jackets are available at all three pools at Disney's Old Key West Resort, including the main feature Sandcastle Pool as well as the three quieter leisure pools located throughout the Resort in Old Turtle Pond, South Point and Miller’s Road areas.

Tracy, I hope you enjoy this original Disney Vacation Club Resort as much as I do! More than any other Resort, this one never fails to put me in complete relaxation and vacation mode. The Resort’s pretty pastel colors, beautiful palm trees, and swaying hammocks suspended over white powdery sand are just some examples of the tropical theming which help to transport Guests back in time to the Key West of days gone by. The accompany sound of steel drums pumping out calypso beats never hurts either, and always puts an extra spring in my step and smile on my face.

One of my favorite activities while staying at Disney's Old Key West Resort is taking a relaxing water taxi to nearby Disney Springs, a shopper's paradise complete with dining experiences a-plenty! A visit here is always on my family's "Must-Do" list each trip.

Wishing you a relaxing tropical vacation at Old Key West!
