    Old Key West looks great and is a great value, If you are not lucky enough to be near the pools, food etc., it seems very inconvenient to have to take a shuttle to the pool - seems that this would be a hassle just to swim? Is this a big issue?

    Hi Sally,

    It's always fun to hear from a fellow Bay Stater! Old Key West rooms are very spacious and the resort is nice. My kids love the big pool. Your best bet is to reserve a room that is located near the Hospitality House. These rooms are all walking distance to the pool, restaurants and front desk. If those aren't available and you end up with a room that requires an internal shuttle to get to the pool, these are still worth it. The internal shuttles come approximately every 10-15 minutes on a regular basis. Just make sure you bring everything you need with you to the pool and make a day of it.
