We are old hands at going to WDW since this will be my 58 trip. But Dec. 4-12 will be our first time to go to WDW with our 2 year old daughter. Any suggestions on how to make our stay the best for her.

Dennis!   58 trips to Disney?   I'll be coming to YOU for answers!!   Your first trip to Disney with your little princess will be a whole new experience!   Getting to see the parks with kids gives you a whole new appreciation of all the magic!

The big thing here will be your schedule.  Without kids, you can go at your pace and your schedule.   Now, work with your daughter's nap schedule and don't push too hard in the parks.  Take a mid-day break and call it a night when your daughter starts to get sleepy.

Take advantage of the Baby Care Centers in each theme park.   These are great for diaper changes and feedings.  They even sell diapers and other baby necessities if you forget anything.

If you are staying in a moderate or deluxe resort, you will have a refrigerator in your room.  This will be great for keeping milk and snacks.   If you are staying in a value resort, you can rent a refrigerator for about $10 a night (price subject to change.)

The other big thing to do is to pack appropriately for your days in the parks.   Keep a backpack with  sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, wet wipes, water, and snacks.   Bring a stroller from home if at all possible.   While you can rent  strollers, it is a big cost savings to bring your own.

I hope your princess enjoys her first visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
