    2 old folks coming to DW (63 and 57) third time. Can we ride the monorail just for the sake of riding it? Just to see Disney World. Can anyone ride it? Coming down in late Nov. 2014 to see the Christmas lights. Staying at Pop Century. Hoping for the FDP :)

    Hi Margaret ~

    I love that you are forever young at heart and planning a third trip to Disney World!

    The Monorail has been one of my favorites at Disney World since the first time I visited in 1971. You are more than welcome to ride just for the fun of riding it.

    There are three monorail lines at Disney:
    * The Resort Monorail which makes stops at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), the Polynesian Resort, the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, the Magic Kingdom, and the Contemporary Resort (in that order).
    * The Express Monorail makes stops at the TTC and the Magic Kingdom.
    * The Epcot Monorail runs between the TTC and Epcot. This is a relaxing 10 - 15 minute ride. We have left Epcot and take a break riding the monorail to TTC and back. If the kids fall asleep, we ride again.

    I would recommend trying all three lines out. You can board all three Monorails lines at TTC. If you are at Epcot, the station is just outside the Main Entrance of the park. If you are on the Resort line, it is fun to get off at each of the resorts and check them out.

    ​All Disney World Guests, including non-resort hotel Guests are welcome to use the Monorails, Disney buses, boat launches and ferry boats at no charge. So feel free to climb aboard, relax and leave the driving to the friendly Cast Members at Disney World.
