    Is old fishing hole (cane pole fishing rental) open at port orleans riverside

     Welcome to planDisney, Connie. I'm super excited to see that you'll be arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort tomorrow! How will you even sleep tonight? Squee!

     I was just at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, and I'm pleased to report that The Fishin' Hole is open. At the time of my visit, The Fishin' Hole Hours were 7:00 am - 1:45 pm. Rates are subject to change at any time, but the rates I saw posted were $6.39 per 1/2 hour, per pole, or $15.98 per 1/2 hour, per family. The sign I read said that rates include sales tax, pole, bait, and dock time. Isn't that great?

     Whether you're a Guest of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or just visiting for pole fishing, be sure to cruise on down the Sassagoula River to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. A visit to Scat Cat's Club - Café for freshly-baked, Mickey-shaped beignets is a must! Served with your choice of a sweet dipping sauce (I recommend strawberry!), these beignets are a heavenly treat.
