Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Rachelle. Thanks for stopping by with your question.
It's always magical to find some old
non-expiring Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets laying around the house, Rachelle. I think it is so fun to compare what the ticket prices were then compared to what they are now. It's such a fun surprise!
I think you'll be happy to know that
Walt Disney World continues to honor all unexpired theme park tickets with remaining admission days. Since your Walt Disney World tickets were printed so long ago, you'll need to call and have a Cast Member help you convert them to new tickets that work with the online system. You can reach out by calling (407) 939-4357. Phone lines open up each day around 7:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time. I recommend calling as early as possible to avoid long wait times on hold as the call centers have been experiencing a higher-than-normal call volume.
After you've converted your old Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets, Rachelle, the next step is to link them to your
MyDisneyExperience account. After they are linked you'll be able to make
park pass reservations. Park pass reservations are necessary to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks right now. They are basically like a virtual placeholder in line since the parks are still operating at a limited capacity. To make your reservations, you'll visit the park pass reservation website. You'll select your traveling party, a date on the calendar and then the theme park you'd like to visit. If all goes well, you'll be taken to a confirmation page and have the availability to make selections for a different day. You'll want to do this for each day you'd like to visit a Walt Disney World Theme Park. Your selections will be updated in real-time and you can see all of your choices over on your MyDisneyExperience account when you are finished.
Rachelle, I hope this helps point you in the right direction with your tickets. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
