Hi Chad! Welcome to planDisney!
The countdown to your most magical vacation is officially on! I am more than happy to help you with your planning question.
The smallest of Mouseketeers who are under the age of 13 are not allowed to have their own
My Disney Experience account; therefore, they cannot make any in-app purchases. Older adventurers between the ages of 13 and 17 can create their own My Disney Experience accounts. But they, too, will not be able to save credit card or debit card information in the app. They'll need a person in their party who is 18 or older to help them purchase tasty snacks via
Mobile Order and making those
Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane purchases. However, if they visit Guest Relations near the entrances of the theme parks, they should be able to purchase Individual Lightning Lane options in-person there.
AN EXTRA GEM: Another great way for your child to have more control over their purchases around the Resort is by using Disney Gift Cards. You can manage these cards at
disneygiftcard.com. Disney Gift Cards are accepted almost anywhere around property, including food booths at EPCOT's year-round festivals and at gift shops.
Chad, please
revisit us here at planDisney with any other vacation planning questions you may have.
Magic always,
LeAndra
