    Hello! Was going through some old boxes and found the old Disney Dollars. I know they don’t make them anymore but can you use them?

    Hey, howdy, hey, Nicole and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Wait, wait, wait, just one minute...you have Disney Dollars. That. Is. Amazing!

    Disney Dollars are a piece of Disney history and a fantastic collectors item. They were available from 1987 till 2016 and continue to be in use to pay for items in the theme parks as well as other locations. They cannot be exchanged for equal printed value in United States Dollars and if you pay with Disney Dollars and change is due then the change will be returned in United States currency. Here is the list of available places Disney Dollars are accepted.

    •Ticketing locations
    •Food and beverage venues
    •Merchandise locations
    •Recreation areas
    •Your Disney Resort hotel Front Desk
    •Your Disney Resort hotel concierge
    •Guest Relations at Disney theme parks and water parks

    You can even use Disney Dollars at the food and merchant locations around the World Showcase and Showcase Plaza during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Make sure to see all the topiaries. They are amazing.

    Disney Dad Tip: If you choose to hold on to the Disney Dollars be sure to put them is a light blocking sleeve or frame to preserve them as their value, depending on quality, can be five times or greater.
