Hi Maryrose,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Maryrose, sometimes, an older active ticket can still be in our My Disney Experience accounts if it was linked prior. Have you checked the “Tickets and Passes” section of the
My Disney Experience mobile app to see if the ticket is already linked? I think this would be a good first step. To do this, after signing into the app, select the three horizontal lines on the right and select “Tickets and Passes”. If it were linked prior, you’d see the ticket here with an expiration date.
In my experience, I think you would need to have some sort of confirmation number or ticket ID to talk with a Cast Member and see if there are any days left on your old ticket. In the past, I’ve had a family member lose their physical Disney ticket. Early in the vacation, we took a picture of all the codes on the back, we shared that picture with a Cast Member when the ticket was lost, and they were able to issue a replacement physical ticket.
With that being said, if you have an email or documentation of the ticket purchase, definitely reach out to the
Existing Tickets desk. Though I can’t promise anything, hopefully, you’d be a little closer by giving them that information.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you prepare for your next Walt Disney World Resort trip. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
