    Is it okay to wear flip flops at the water parks, or do we have to have water shoes?

    Hi Bernadette!

         Yes, you can wear flip flops at the Walt Disney World Water Parks. You probably will have to take your flip flops off on most of the water rides and hold them in your hands so that you don't lose them during the ride.  I definitely would recommend wearing flip flops or water shoes when you are walking around at Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach to protect your feet because the pavement gets very warm and the surface on the bottom of the water rides can be very rough on your feet.
