okay if my stay is from the 23rd to the 26th will i be able to check in the night of the 22nd? if not how early can i check in on the 23rd to still be able to spend the day at the park on the 23rd?

Hi, Makayla, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

One of the awesome benefits of staying at a Walt Disney Resort hotel is Online Check-In. This allows you to use your My Disney Experience account (online or via the mobile app) to provide the information that’s typically collected at the front desk when you check in for your stay. You will still need to visit the registration desk in your hotel’s lobby to pick up your welcome folder, room keys and MagicBands (if they were shipped to the hotel), but the process goes much more quickly and smoothly with Online Check-In. You’ll also receive a text message and email when your room is ready! This will free up your morning or early afternoon to enjoy the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks--even before you’ve set foot in your room.

There’s no need to worry about your luggage, either! If you’re flying into Orlando International Airport and using the complimentary Disney’s Magical Express service, your luggage will be delivered after your room is ready. If you’re driving or arriving via another airport, Bell Services will be happy to hold your luggage until after you’ve arrived in your room.

If you’d like to see about extending your stay and checking in the night before your current arrival date, I would suggest checking online or calling the “Disney Resort Hotel Reservations” helpline to see if a room might be available. (Of course this will add another night’s room cost to your stay.) Generally speaking, Disney Deluxe Villas are ready for Guests by 4 p.m. and other hotel rooms are available beginning at 3 p.m. If your Resort hotel package includes Theme Park tickets, you can pick those up at the concierge desk the morning of your arrival--even before your room is ready.

If you have additional questions about the Online Check-In procedures, check out the Frequently Asked Questions on the Walt Disney World Resort website. And please let us know if there are any other questions we can answer prior to your visit.
