Okay we recently had our first visit to Disney World and my husband and I were contemplating on whether or not we should make it a more frequent visit so we were thinking of annual pass holders but its us and our two kids do we each have to have one? Perk?

Hi there, Amanda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and ask your excellent Walt Disney World Resort question!

It’s so exciting that you and your family are considering becoming Disney World Annual Passholders! I fondly remember my own family’s first trip to Walt Disney World Resort to this day and just how much fun we had. It was not long after that trip that we decided to become Annual Passholders ourselves! For us, Walt Disney World Resort has truly become our happy place and a second home!

If you and your family intend on visiting Walt Disney World Resort on a semi-frequent basis, purchase annual passes may actually save you quite a bit of money! Since my family tends to visit at least twice a year, purchasing annual passes would clearly save us quite a bit of money in the long run! Also, having annual passes have allowed us to make short trips to Walt Disney World Resort without worrying about the price of tickets. If you also enjoy impromptu trips, this may be a huge perk for your own family!

Disney World Annual Passholders also receive a variety of benefits and extras throughout the year! Some of the benefits include early FastPass+ reservations, complimentary standard parking at all four parks, and special discounts on merchandise, food, and more. There are also often special discounts on Disney Resort hotels that are only available to Annual Passholders! If you’re interested in looking into some of the current Extras available, be sure to check out the Disney World Annual Passholder webpage!

All members of the family above the age of three years are required to have a Disney World Annual Pass to be admitted to the theme parks so this would be something to keep in mind when creating your budget!

Hopefully, this information will assist you in making your decision!
