Ahoy there, Shelia! Thank you for sailing by planDisney with your question. I am happy to answer it.
You should
carry your prescription medications in their original containers and make sure they are in your carry-on bag and not your checked luggage when you board your Disney Cruise Line ship. It may also be helpful to take a picture of your prescriptions just in case anything gets lost. I like to bring my vitamins and over-the-counter medications in their original bottles as well, but it is not required. Once onboard, you can transfer your medication to an organizer or whatever system that works for you. You can place those original containers and any other valuables in the safe in your room if you would like.
Shelia, you will also need your
travel documentation in your carry-on bag. I suggest adding your cell phone charger, sunscreen, and maybe even your swimsuit and coverup if you think you will want to hang out in the pool to your bag. Your checked luggage will magically arrive at your stateroom door later in the day, so you want to keep the items that you will need over the first few hours with you. If your carry-on items are heavy, I suggest using a rolling bag.
