okay, so I've made a list of attractions of what we want to see, booked table services, understand the park-hopper and fast pass, but I'm not sure what to actually take in the morning. (wallet, food, water, backpack to stash stuff?) Kids are 4 and 8.

    Hi Kristin!

It looks like you are in great shape for your upcoming vacation and have tackled the major "to do's".  As for what to carry into the parks, your list is great.  Here is a list of other things include when we hit the parks with our 4 and 6 year old boys:

    • Small first aide kit (with bandaids and antibiotic ointment in case a kid gets too excited when they spot Mickey and bolt across the park!  I usually carry kids' fever reducer, just in case.)
    • Rain ponchos (I recommend pre-buying these at a local dollar store.  You can get enough to "wardrobe" your whole crew for less than the cost of one in the parks)
    • You may want to freeze your drinks in the room fridge so they stay cold, and keep your other food cool as well.
    • Bring a list of your advance dining reservation numbers and times if you are dining in the parks.
    • Light jackets/sweatshirts depending upon what time of year you are going for cool mornings and/or evenings.
    • Baby wipes for wiping sticky fingers after park treats.
    • I always recommend ensuring that your kids either know your cell phone number, or "stick" the number on their back on an address label, in their shoe or pocket in case anyone gets separated.

I think all your planning will ensure that you have a wonderful trip!  Have fun!
