Okay moms....first trip to Disney will be in October. My daughter is 5, turning 6 while we are there and her favorite princess is Ariel. I'm not finding any times for the Grotto at all past July. Is it that they are just not posted yet, or?

    Hi Shay!

A first trip to Disney is always exciting and celebrating a birthday while you're there makes it beyond exciting!!  Be sure to pick up "1st Visit" buttons for all of you and a "Happy Birthday" button for your daughter.  You can get them as you're checking in if you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel or at any Guest Relations location in the parks. They make great free souvenEARs and will alert Cast Members your little princess is celebrating her birthday.

I checked the online calendar for the Magic Kingdom and you are correct. They are not currently showing any Meet and Greet times for Ariel at her Grotto past July.  In fact, at this point they haven't updated the park schedule for all of July.  I wouldn't worry just yet.  They haven't announced any planned refurbishments for Ariel's Grotto so it should be open.  However, keep in mind that attractions are always subject to be closed for any reason without notice.

Check the online calendar a little closer to your trip.  Ariel usually appears several hours each day and I know that she'll be thrilled to "sea" your little Princess.
