Okay to bring chairs to sit on for the electric parade?

    Greetings Ciara!
I'm thrilled to know you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort, and so happy you're making plans to view the iconic Main Street Electrical Parade while you're there!
While I completely understand guests want to secure a comfortable seat during the parade, park rules prohibit guests from entering the Parks with certain items, including folding chairs.
Here are my top recommendations for enjoying the Main Street Electrical Parade comfortably and with a good view of dazzling parade floats, including the ever-so-charming Elliot from "Pete's Dragon":
         * Reserve your spot at a comfortable bench approximately 1 hour before parade time. There are numerous benches along the end of Main Street U.S.A. near the Walt Disney statue overlooking the Sleeping Beauty Castle. If you think waiting for an hour is a bit much, believe me when I tell you time flies! I usually leave my husband and the boys to watch my seat while I go pick up a delicious candy apple for all of us to share from the nearby Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen. When I return, we all thoroughly enjoy taking turns eating our candy apple and people watching before the parade announcement begins!
         * Purchase a Main Street Electrical Parade dining package. There are two options available to enjoy a delicious meal and receive vouchers for preferred parade viewing!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
