Ok I want to surprise my family with a trip to DW. I need to save up so it won't be too soon but probably in 2011. What are the best times to go? I have two kids and at the time we go will be 10 and 8. This will be our first time to DW. Been to DL lots

    Hey Kevin!

    What a wonderful surprise!

Here is a link to Disney's FAQ page that lists the attendance trends based on historic levels and even weather/temperature estimates during the year:

The important things that influence attendance levels are things like holidays and school terms. If you have a holiday where kids are out of school the levels go way up! I'm assuming that you are curious about low crowd times, but if I'm way off base the link I gave above also lists moderate and high level times.

We enjoy going the week after Thanksgiving and the first week of December. Crowd levels are low and the weather is lovely.  Late January and early February  have also boasted lower crowds. And in September, after Labor day has passed and school is back in session you can find low crowds.

Thanks so much for thinking of the Disney Moms Panel when you had a question!
