Hi Barbara,
My kiddo is about the same age as your two children, so I am well-versed on the attractions that appeal to that age demo. If one or both of your children qualify for
Disability Access Service (DAS), here are the attractions that qualify for DAS and that I recommend for their age range.
Disneyland Park:- Autopia
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (must be 40" or taller)
- Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
- Haunted Mansion (this is especially cool during the holiday season)
- “it’s a small world”
- Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run (must be 38" or taller)
- Star Tours – the Adventure Continues (must be 40" or taller)
Disney California Adventure Park:- Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sully to the Rescue!
- Soarin’ Around the World (must be 40" or taller)
- Toy Story Midway Mania
I would say for any of the attractions above, it is worth it, especially later in the day when attraction waits are typically longer. My one bit of advice would be to check the
Disneyland Resort Attraction Details first, as this document lists all the stimuli a Guest can experience on each attraction, such as loud noises, periods of darkness, and other elements of surprise.
Have a great time with your two little ones at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Best wishes,
Lola
