Is it ok to reserve a table at an early dinner time at Disney parks but only have a drink and a dessert?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Emma!

Dining at Disney is one of my absolute favorite pastimes too, so I’m thrilled to dive into your question! It’s completely fine to reserve a table at an early dinner time and just indulge in a drink and dessert. Disney is super accommodating, so as long as you’re respectful of your reservation time and don’t linger too long, you can order as little or as much as you like.

That said, it’s always a good idea to check the specific restaurant’s policy when booking, as a few spots might have special requirements. For example, Space 220 Restaurant only offers a prix fixe menu for the main dining room, but you can book a more flexible experience in their lounge if you’re just after a light bite and a drink.

If you’re thinking about a delightful treat and drink at one of Disney’s restaurants, go for it! It’s a great way to experience the ambience without committing to a full meal. Whether it's a refreshing cocktail at Oga's Cantina or a Caramel Brownie Cheesecake at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, Disney magic is always sweeter with a treat in hand. Enjoy!

If you have more questions, Emma, we’re always here at planDisney, ready to help!

    Have a magical time,
    Louise
