Ok. I have 2 questions. We have the DDP. I know kids, 3-9, have to order off the kids meal but do they get to order dessert? Also, we're a party of 6 so 18% gratuity is added. Can that just be charged to our card we have on file or do we have to bring one?

    Hi Katie,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am glad to hear that you have decided to use the Disney Dining Plan, my family and I can't imagine a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation without it!  With the dining plan every guest will receive a non - alcoholic beverage, an entree as well as a dessert.  Children are entitled to dessert and will have several options available on the kids menu.

When dining at a Table Service Location, 18% gratuity is automatically added for parties of 6 guests or more.  You are most certainly able to use your MagicBand or Key to the World Card and add that charge to the credit card you have on file.  There is no need to bring your credit card with you to the dining locations, unless you would like to use a card that is different from the one you have on file.

I hope you have a magical time on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan.  I would love to hear from you again.
