Ok, planning on package with dining option. My brother is in military and says he can buy my tickets on base for cheaper. Is it a better deal to have him do this or can I even still do dining plan with hotel stay only through Disney? Thanks so much!

    Hi Tiffany!

My answers to your questions will be different based on a couple of different situations.

The first situation assumes your brother is accompanying you on this vacation.  In this case, he could call and book your resort hotel rooms under the Armed Forces Salute discount.  When rooms are booked under this discount, you can add the Disney Dining Plan without having to purchase tickets as part of the package.  He can call 407-939-7830 to check pricing an availability.  A valid military ID is required at check-in for these deals.  You could then use the tickets he purchased on base for your park admission.

The second situation assumes your brother is not traveling with you to Walt Disney World.  In this case, he will not be able to purchase the special 4-day tickets for you.  The tickets purchased at the base must be activated at Walt Disney World with either the military member or their spouse is present to show their valid military ID.

I hope this helps, Tiffany.  Please come back and see me if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Disney day,
