    Ok, about the new mugs. I will have a split stay starting at Sports with QS for 2 nights. Then renting points 8 nights AKV. So is the mug only good for the first 2 nights? Can I pay the difference for entire stay? I know I get it with plan.

    What a fun vacation you have planned!  You are going to love your resort choices.  They are totally different and both so fun!

    From what I understand, the Rapid Refill Mugs can be purchased for 1 day, 2 day, 3 days, or length of stay.  Your first two nights will be included in your Disney Dining Plan.  Once you reach Animal Kingdom Villas, you will need 8 additional nights. Your best bet will be to just wait until you get to AKV and purchase new mugs.  As this time, I am told they cannot reprogram your existing mug, and if they did it would be the same price anyway. Get a fresh, new mug (if that is what you want to do) and look at it as an extra travel mug to use when you get home!  The cost for a length of stay Rapid Refill Mug is currently $17.99 plus tax, prices (and really the entire system) are subject to change! When something new comes out, there are always changes that we have to figure out.
