Hello, Tammy! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so sorry to hear about your recent predicament and I wish you a speedy recovery! You can rest assured knowing that the Disneyland Resort goes above and beyond to make sure those with differing abilities can enjoy the parks to the fullest.
My first bit of advice would be to contact Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 before your visit or visit a
Guest Relations location when you arrive at the parks to discuss any concerns you may have. Also, view the
list of attractions that accommodate wheelchairs and those that require Guests to transfer from their wheelchairs in order to ride. Some attractions have separate entrances for those in wheelchairs. The disabled party and up to five others are able to wait in line through these auxiliary entrances. These guides for
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park notate where the mobility access is located for certain attractions as well as provide other details for those with disabilities. Finally, if you would like to
rent a wheelchair or Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) at the parks, they are available on a first come, first served basis.
I hope this information was helpful. Please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if you have any other questions.
