ok this is the first (and probably only) trip my family and I will be taking. my girl will go to BBB at 8:45am @disney springs we are staying at port orleans riverside. we will drive our car. what time should we leave the hotel?

    Hi Sharon,

First visits to Walt Disney World are especially magical! It sounds as if you already have a great start on planning a vacation that will make incredible memories.

The Port Orleans Riverside resort is very close to Disney Springs. It should only take you 10 or 15 minutes to drive there, especially early in the morning when traffic is lighter. And the new Lime garage makes finding a parking spot a breeze.

All that said, I would plan to leave the resort no later than 8 a.m., just so you don't feel rushed or stressed about making your Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment on time. If you're early, you can always grab a cup of coffee or a pastry at Starbucks while you wait.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you with your plans. Enjoy your time with your family!
