Ok, going on our first cruise with the family, a pretty large group, would like to plan sometime with the wife for a couples spa, however I want to make sure we don't miss out on any shows for the kids any suggestion?

    Hi, Evelyn!

Congratulations on your first Disney cruise -- you and yours are going to be spoiled by Disney's legendary service against the backdrop of a luxury vacation at sea!

Without knowing your ship or itinerary, my best advice is to plan for your time together as a couple at the spa for the late morning or early afternoon -- while you're at sea if possible.  The children will enjoy the kids' spaces, and there usually isn't much to miss as a family.  There is ALWAYS something going on -- you could probably guess that. Yet, there is nothing like stepping away from all the activity and enjoying some quiet time as adults. It sure makes me a better mommy!

My favorite lineup with my hubby is to schedule a spa treatment together in the morning at the spa, and then, savor brunch at Palo. If you're on a 7+ night voyage, brunch is available at Palo for days at sea.

I hope this helps you plan, and please let me know if I can answer anything else for you. They don't call me the Disney Cruise Mom for nothing! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
