Hi Holly, welcome to planDisney!
This magical corner of the digital universe is the perfect place to bring all of your questions about your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Cinderella Castle is dressed in its EARidescent finest, ready to welcome you to
The World's Most Magical Celebration. Let's work on getting you those theme park tickets!
Valid admission and
park pass reservations are currently required for entry into the
four theme parks. When purchasing your
theme park tickets, click the blue "Continue" button to start the selection process. On the next page, you can click "View Calendar" to view the most up-to-date
theme park availability calendar, which opens in a separate tab on my computer. Since it sounds like you may have gotten stuck on the availability calendar, let's bypass that link for now and scroll down to select the number of days for your tickets. Scroll down further to select "Park Hopper Option" (great choice!) and you will be asked to select the first day of your park ticket. Park availability is shown on this calendar, as well, so keep an eye on the green circles at the top of each calendar square. All circles in May are currently all green, which means all parks are available. Keep scrolling to select the number of tickets for ages 10+ and ages 3-9 (under 3 do not require a ticket) and click "Continue." You'll then be able to add options like Memory Maker and Genie+. These can also be purchased at a later date if you're unsure. Click "Select" to view your cart. The next page allows you to proceed with
Check Out,
Save Cart, or even
Compare Vacation Offers if you're looking to do some price shopping.
As you proceed with the checkout process, you will be asked to create or log in to your
My Disney Experience account and assign each ticket to an individual member of your
Family and Friends list. If a member of your planning party with their own My Disney Experience account does not appear on your drop-down list, I recommend adding them to your list before purchasing to avoid creating a duplicate My Disney Experience profile. If a member of your planning party is under age 13 or does not wish to have their own My Disney Experience account, click "Add a Guest." If you add a Guest that ends up creating their own My Disney Experience account later, you'll need to invite that Guest to connect with you in Friends and Family so the plans you've made can migrate to their new account. Disney details for another day, perhaps, but the more you know, the more the magic can grow!
I hope this is just the beginning of a beautiful relationship, Holly, and that we see you at planDisney again real soon.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
