Ok I am a very early planner, we have been to WDW once before and I am now planning our second trip! I have a folder with all my planning details. We are planning on going back in june 2014, how early can I purchase our tickets?

    Hi Alicia!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

You can purchase tickets immediately and just hold them until June of 2014.  Tickets don't expire as long as you don't use them!  If you use them once, then they do expire after 14 days unless you purchase the No Expiration option.

If you are wondering about when you can make hotel reservations, you can call Disney and reserve a hotel room up to 499 days in advance of your intended check out date.  However, you can not make an on-line reservation until the actual 2014 pricing has been released.  Historically, rates are released in mid to late summer for the upcoming year.  If you call before the 2014 pricing is released, but after it is 499 days before your intended check-out date, what Disney does is charge you for a  single night's rate based on the pricing available then and then automatically adjusts your rate when the 2014 pricing comes out.

Packages can only be booked once the 2014 rates are released.  However, you can easily convert a room only reservation to a package by simply calling.  Also, if any applicable discounts come out between now and then, you can call and try to have those applied to your reservation; there are usually limited numbers and conditions so not all discount codes will apply.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
