Ok - we are going to Disney in October. We have a 9 year old and a 2 year old and I would like to take them to one of the water parks. Do you feel Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon would be best suited for our family?

You and your family will have such a blast at the Walt Disney World Resort. While I am a big fan of both water parks, with kids under 10 I would lean towards Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. With great attraction like Tike's Peak, which offers tots their own watery play area. Kids will have mountains of fun at this water wonderland made just for them. The wading pool at Tike's Peak is very shallow, with a snow-castle fountain and pop-up water jets for tots to splash and play near. Children must be less than 48 inches tall to play at Tike's Peak. I think that you and the kids will have a splashing good time at this fun water park. Have a magical vacation.

As a Los Angeles native I basically grew up at Disneyland. It has always been so easy to take my family on the short drive to the Happiest Place on Earth. Watching my daughters make magical memories reminds me why I keep coming back. Learn More About Ari
