Hi there, Carolyn!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your trip to
Walt Disney World Resort is coming up quickly and I imagine you are eagerly counting down the days until your arrival at “The Most Magical Place on Earth”!!
I am very glad you stopped by with your question and simply put, YES! You can bring a backpack with you to the theme parks, as long as it is not larger than 24 inches long x 15 inches wide x 18 inches high. If you are planning on a backpack, then it will easily fit within those parameters so no need to worry. Be advised that you will be asked for it to be inspected upon arrival at the theme parks, but you can certainly bring it with you! I would actually be lost without my backpack at the theme parks because for me, it’s the easiest way to carry the necessities needed for a long day at the theme parks! I always pack hand wipes, some water bottles, sunscreen, bug repellant and a phone charger. Oh, and snacks...definitely snacks because snacks can reduce meltdowns (for both children and grown-ups!!). I do recommend glancing through the
park rules to ensure that you are not bringing in anything with you that may be prohibited, but other than that you should be good to go with a backpack and necessities!
Have you downloaded the
My Disney Experience Mobile App yet?!?! If not, do so! I always use it when in the theme parks for updated wait times for attractions, schedules of entertainment, bus schedules and much more!
Wishing you a magical and memorable vacation, Carolyn!
