Will Ohana have a traditional Thanksgiving menu for 2013?

    Hi Kyle,

If I were to whip up a Top 10 list of my favorite restaurants in Walt Disney World, you would definitely see 'Ohana on there! Also, congratulations on snagging a reservation there on a holiday. (That's quite an accomplishment!)

You asked a great question about their plans for Thanksgiving dinner this year. That being said, I have good news and bad news for you.

    The good news:

The word on the street is that they do have something special planned to celebrate Thanksgiving!

    The bad news:

I can't find anyone who will spill the beans to me!

Whatever they have planned, I'm sure it's going to be awesome. Plus, what better way to celebrate a holiday that symbolizes family togetherness than a place that embraces that concept every day of the year!

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

Many of my friends treat the dining experiences at Walt Disney World like a NASCAR pit stop. (Refuel as fast as possible, then immediately head back to the races!) Personally, I think the dining experiences at Walt Disney World should be savored and 'Ohana is a perfect example of one that shouldn't be rushed.

So, my advice would be to power-down your cell phone, put your watch in your pocket, and dedicate your dinners at Walt Disney World to being intentional bonding time with your family. I've made so many fond memories from breaking bread with my family at Walt Disney World, and I hope you will as well!

I hope that helped! If you should have any additional questions, even if they're not related to my favorite topic (food!), please feel free to write back and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
