Aloha, Courtney! I’m so happy to welcome you to planDisney. I always love a reason to talk about ‘Ohana since it’s one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort restaurants. I can almost smell the iconic lobby scent at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort right now and hear the island music in the background!
You have a fun breakfast planned with Lilo and Stitch! With an arrival time of 8 a.m., complimentary transportation is unfortunately probably not going to be an option for you. Water taxis from Fort Wilderness to Magic Kingdom begin running about an hour before park opening. Be sure to check
park hours for the date of your reservation. Since Early Entry is typically at 8:30 a.m., the earliest water taxi would be at 7:30 a.m. This is unlikely to give you enough time to then board the monorail and travel to the Polynesian.
Since you would be on a tight schedule, I recommend considering
Minnie Van™ Service. You can set up a ride on the Lyft app that morning. Minnie Vans begin offering service around 6:30 a.m. and are driven by Disney Cast Members. They can accommodate up to six passengers in one vehicle and also have car seats available. It’s important to know that availability is limited, so a Minnie Van may not be able to pick you up immediately if demand is high. In that case, a traditional rideshare may be your only other option.
Courtney, I hope this helps you map out a plan, so you can start your morning smoothly! If you have any more questions, please
reach out to me. I’m always here to help make sure your vacation is practically
perfect in every way!
With faith, trust, & pixie dust,
Casey
