Hello Randy! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has always been one of my family's very favorite places to eat for dinner. Even from the time my daughter was very little she'd slurp down some noodles and gobble on a chicken wing no problem. But, if this doesn't appeal to your little eaters, I think you'll be happy to know that while there isn't necessarily a children's menu, there are different options they can choose from if children aren't enjoying their meal. On several occasions, when my daughter was younger, she was offered a hot dog, chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese, french fries and her very own ice cream when it was time for dessert. When you arrive, if you're sure you are going to need something additional you can speak with your server to find out what the offerings are that day. However, there are several options on the standard menu that might interest your picky eaters. The grilled meats all have a mild flavor with different dipping sauces to choose from, the noodles were always a big hit with my daughter and the bread brought to the table is always appealing. You might be surprised and not even need "kid friendly" fare.
I just know you are going to have such a wonderful dinner, no matter what your family chooses to eat. If your dinner reservation is close to the time of the
Happily Ever After firework show at
Magic Kingdom Park, you should request a window seat when you check-in. The restaurant dims the lights and pipes in music from the show, it's a perfect view! If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.
