Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Kathryn. I'm so glad you've stopped by to talk about one of my favorite things - Disney dining!
Dinner at
'Ohana is an amazing meal, you are going to have a great time. My family and I have made so many wonderful memories dining there over the years. I think you'll be happy to know that when a Walt Disney World restaurant closes at a certain time, that's really when the last seating is. You will be able to enjoy your dinner just like any other diner eating there at a different time throughout the day. On occasion, I've also grabbed one of the later seatings for a dinner and I have never felt rushed. You are more than welcome to take your time and enjoy your meal, so no worries there!
If you'd like to enjoy some time at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort before your dinner, I suggest arriving early and making your first stop at
Tambu Lounge. Tambu is set up right outside of 'Ohana, you can't miss it. It's actually my favorite place to grab a cocktail and relax at Walt Disney World. In fact, I was just there the other day after a fun day at Magic Kingdom Park. They have so many delicious and unique Polynesian-inspired cocktails and mocktails on their menu. One of my favorites is the Lapu Lapu which is served up to you in a hollowed-out pineapple. I love a good drink that's on point with the theming! If you like the drink and want a refill, be sure to save your pineapple because you can actually get a little bit of a discount if they are able to reuse it.
I really hope you enjoy your dinner at 'Ohana. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and enjoy!
