Hi Lynne,
I think you have the makings of a great Disney morning outside of the Theme Parks. The
'Ohana character breakfast with Stitch and friends at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a terrific way to start the day, and I think your plan of taking a ride to Epcot on the monorail is a great one. As someone who views the monorails as an attraction onto themselves, I absolutely love this idea.
After finishing your breakfast at 'Ohana, you will make your way to the monorail station on the same level as the restaurant. From here, you will take one of the Resort monorails to the Transportation and Ticket Center, which will be your fourth stop. Once you arrive, you will need to transfer monorails to the Epcot line. This portion of your journey is my favorite part as you will travel continuously over an extended track. Upon arrival at Epcot, you will need to disembark the monorail before taking the return trip back to the Transportation & Ticket Centre, completing the whole trip in reverse. Disney calls it the "Highway in the Sky" and I think this is a perfect description for this sleek, futuristic and exciting mode of travel.
Lynne, wishing you a fantastic upcoming trip. Enjoy your ride on the monorail!
Magically Yours,
Trish
