Hello, we have Ohana breakfast reservation but the new Disney site doesn't allow me to add a celebration? It's my daughter's birthday and another Tusker lunch reservation for his birthday, how can we book it and acknowledge the celebration

    Hi Catherine!

Hooray! I am thrilled to hear about your very special Disney celebrations. Where better to celebrate a special day, than the Most Magical Place on Earth? After all, it's where dreams come true, right?

When we are celebrating special occasions, I like to call in order to request that they add the celebration to our reservation. You can also let the Cast Member at the restaurant know when you check in for your reservation. Along with having the celebration noted on your reservation, there are adorable Mickey-themed celebration cakes that you can order ahead (for an additional fee) that they'll bring out to the table at participating restaurants. Cakes can be dark chocolate, milk chocolate or white chocolate and you can even have a celebration message written on the chocolate ears!

Make sure you also stop by one of the Guest Relations locations or your Disney Resort Hotel Front Desk in order to pick up Happy Birthday buttons! They're a free souvenir and will ensure that the birthday Guests feel extra special with greetings by Cast Members throughout the parks and although there is no guarantee, sometimes the wearer will even receive some extra pixie dust.

Have a wonderful vacation, Catherine! If there is anything else we can assist you with, please let us know. We are here to help!

    Magical Wishes,

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
