We are going to Ohana for breakfast then plan to hop the monorail to Magic Kingdom. Am I able to park at the Polynesian for the day even if I am not staying there?

    Hi Donna,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian!

You’re going to love starting your Disney Day at ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. I think Stitch is adorable, so I love the fact that he’s usually around to greet Guests (and engage in some mischief) at this character dining location.

From what I understand, unless you choose to use Valet Parking during your stay at this Disney Resort Hotel, you’ll typically only be allowed to park there for a maximum of 3 hours in a single day. That being said, sometimes, if it isn’t a very busy day at either this Resort or at Walt Disney World Resort, generally, you might be able to park there for longer if you plan to visit Magic Kingdom Park

My advice would be to ask the Security Cast Member who will greet you when you arrive. When you give him or her your restaurant confirmation number, tell them that you plan to visit Magic Kingdom Park after your meal and ask them whether you need to move your vehicle. They’ll be more than happy to assist you. If they do ask you to move your vehicle after your meal, ask them whether or not Valet Parking is available (for a fee) that day.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
