Hi Jennifer! I think I understand your question and if not just ask again until I do! Sometimes two times is the charm!

Sounds like you are headed to the Magic Kingdom for the great Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on September 30! I love this special party and will actually be heading to it three times this season! If you are planning on spending the entire day in the park and wondering about crowds it is tough to call. Generally, guests who do not have a Park Hopper ticket will want to spend a day in a park where the hours are longer. It is what I would suggest to a guest if they asked me for advice. However, you don't know what people are going to think and what they will do so it is just best to say it sounds like a good plan that the crowds might be a tad less then a day when the park has extended hours.

In any case we have always found that the lines for the attractions during the special parties have not been long at all and often for some things no line at all! They limit the number of tickets to the parties which allows the guests to enjoy more of the park in a shorter amount of time. What you can't do during the day you can easily finish during the evening hours of the party...just make sure the attraction will be operating as not everything is open. And absolutely don't forget to see the parade and fireworks on this special night. My favorite parade things are the Headless Horseman who trots ahead of the parade and then the Haunted Mansion float complete with ghosts! Have a great time!
