Is the Oga's Cantina appropriate for a 3.5 year old (there will be 6 adults)?

Galactic greetings to you, Melanie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so excited for your upcoming visit to a galaxy far, far away!

We visited Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge last month, and our group enjoyed the lively scene. We visited the local watering hole with three adults and one 7-year-old (my 3- and 5-year-old weren’t with us that day). There isn’t an age limit to enter the Cantina, so your Padawan is welcome to come in with you and your group.

The Cantina has three main types of seating or table options, including standing at the bar, standing at a high-top table, or sitting in a booth. Typically, seats and tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis, but, if you explain to the Cast Member at the entrance that you’re traveling with a young Padawan, and are alright with waiting for a booth, they may be able to accommodate you. I think that sitting in a booth would make the experience much easier with a little one!

To keep your toddler entertained, you can walk around the Cantina and take in the many fun sights and sounds, starting with DJ R-3X, a former Starspeeder 3000 pilot. This droid keeps the party going! The menu has plenty of options for young ones, too, including my son’s choice, the Blue Bantha, which is chilled Blue Milk served with a Bantha-inspired Vanilla-Butter Sugar Cookie… yum! Your younger crew member will also get a kick out of Oga’s Obsession, made up of Odwalla lemonade, cotton candy flavor, and blueberry popping pearls with a bursting dried fruit mixture! Another option is to check out the Cantina at breakfast time, when the Mustafarian Lava Roll and Rising Moons Overnight Oats are available... I can see my little guy enjoying those for sure!

Have you made your Oga's Cantina reservation yet? You can make reservations online or on the Disneyland app up to 14 days in advance. Same-day reservations will be available each day at 7:00 AM Pacific Time for visits that day, subject to availability. Keep in mind that you’ll need to have a valid credit card number on hand when making your reservation.

I can’t wait for you to experience the magic and thrill of visiting Batuu! May the Force be with you!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
