How often does the transport run from toy story lot to main gate

    Salutations Judy!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for bringing your question our way! It’s almost time for your magical journey to the Disneyland Resort! But before you pass through the main entrance turnstiles, you’ll need to park your car. Let me give you some information.

Parking for the theme parks opens 60 minutes prior to the earliest Disneyland Resort theme park opening time. If both theme parks are scheduled to open at 8:00 a.m. on your arrival day, the lots should be open by 7:00 a.m.

The Disneyland Resort currently offers parking at Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and Toy Story Parking Area. Guests parking at Mickey & Friends will walk along the tram pathway from the parking structure to the main entrance esplanade. Guests parking at Toy Story will board bus transportation to the Disneyland Main Transportation Center.

Please keep in mind that when parking your vehicle at the Disneyland Resort, you are more than welcome to leave and return later in the day. You will only pay once. Just be sure to keep your parking receipt and show it to the Cast Member when you return to the parking structure.

Shuttles for the Toy Story Parking Lot are running constantly throughout the day. But, in the early morning and towards park closing the shuttles will come more often. I think the most I’ve waited for a shuttle is about 10 to 15 minutes. You’re always welcome to ask a Cast Member when the next shuttle is arriving. They would be happy to provide that information to you.

Enjoy your time at the Disneyland Resort and head back to planDisney with more questions!
