Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a great way to fit more magic into your day at the Disneyland Resort. To make the most of the pass, it's good to understand the ins and outs of managing your selections. I'm happy to help with that.
Your
Lightning Lane Multi Pass will activate once the ticket it's linked to is used to enter a theme park. Right after you scan into the park, make your first selection. After that, you'll make Lightning Lane selections one at a time. Once you’ve redeemed a selection (or after two hours have passed since you made your last selection), you can book your next return time.
Here are a few helpful tips:
- If you have a Park Hopper ticket or a Magic Key pass, you'll be able to use the multi pass for attractions in both parks. At this time, you can't cross into the other park until 11 a.m., so keep that in mind when making selections.
- Some popular attractions are more likely to have later return windows than others, especially as the day progresses. I recommend prioritizing Indiana Jones Adventure and Space Mountain in Disneyland, as well as Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! and Toy Story Midway Mania! in California Adventure.
- If your selected arrival time is later in the day, you could try modifying it to see if an earlier time slot is available.
- If you're visiting with a group, consider linking each person's ticket to your account in the Disneyland mobile app. That way, you can book Lightning Lane selections for everyone – it’s much smoother than each person booking on their own.
- Single passes are available for a few of the most popular attractions not included in the multi pass. You can purchase those separately on the day of your visit if you wish to use them.
- With the multi pass, you'll receive unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos for the day. It's a great opportunity to have photos taken at iconic locations like Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Millennium Falcon.
