You often recommend using Uber or Lyft for getting from park to park. Do you know roughly what they charge to get between parks?

Hello Stephen and thanks for returning to planDisney with another great question for us to help you with.

It's really lovely to see you have a magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort already planned for late January 2022!  There's nothing nicer than having a countdown to Disney in your life.  I can highly recommend taking a peek at our pixie-dusted planDisney Panel Extras where we share some top tips that your family could use for Counting Down to your Disney Vacation.

When not utilising the bibbidi bobbidi boo convenience of Disney Resort Transportation, I am more than happy to say that I've always enjoyed a reliable service from lift-share utilities such as Uber and Lyft when traversing Walt Disney World Resort property.  Of course, it would be much easier to fly around the World if we all had a magical friend like Carpet!

It's rather tricky for me to definitively answer your great question about approximate lift-share charges as I understand these charges can fluctuate according to season, demand, and time of day.  Therefore, on your behalf Stephen, I undertook a little online Google research (by using the search term: Lyft/Uber charges Walt Disney World Resort), and found several unofficial Disney fan websites that have provided breakdowns of approximate lift-share costings which range on average from $8 to $20 per trip.

Stephen, I hope I've been able to provide you with a little insight today.  If you should have any further enquiries about planning your January vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, then please do pop back to planDisney to ask me another question.  I'm always more than happy to help where I can!

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
