MagicBands add a little extra convenience to any Walt Disney World vacation! You can use them to enter the theme parks, enter
Lightning Lane attraction queues, open your
Disney Resort hotel room door and pay for merchandise and
Disney dining. One of the best things about MagicBands is that there are so many colors, designs and themes to choose from! I have so many at this point, so I like to change depending on my mood or outfit.
New MagicBands are constantly showing up for sale around Walt Disney World. You can find them in almost every gift shop in the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and at
Disney Springs. I saw a Guest post photos online of holiday merchandise at Disney Springs just yesterday, so I would guess that holiday MagicBands are coming out really soon, even though we aren't past Halloween just yet. I am such a sucker for anything Christmas and Mickey, so I am very excited to check out the new holiday line on my next visit!
If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you have the option to purchase MagicBands at a pre-arrival discount. The inventory changes and it doesn't look like there are any holiday options currently, but that could change as you get closer to your trip. To view the available pre-arrival MagicBands, hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab at the top right of the
Walt Disney World website and then click on "
My MagicBands and Cards". Your upcoming vacation will be at the top for you to start customizing.
