How often are hotel rooms being cleaned during a stay? If you are staying with a child that has a toileting accident while sleeping is it possible to get sheets changed?

Hello Maureen! You brought your great planning question to the right place! I’m happy to help!

Guests can expect that their Walt Disney World Resort hotel room will receive light mousekeeping...err...I mean housekeeping service every other day of their vacation. This will include removal of trash, removal of used towels, replenishment of towels, soaps, and shampoo, etc. along with the cleaning of surfaces and vacuuming (if necessary).

Should your little Mouseketeer have an accident, (yes, accidents happen even at the Most Magical Place on Earth), you can simply call the front desk and request a change of bedsheets which will promptly be brought to your room. You can also inform the front desk of the accident and housekeeping will be able to address the area for proper cleaning and sanitation.

Maureen, my wife and I have been taking our boys to the Walt Disney World Resort since they were young Disney princes! After a very long day at the parks, they (and we) are likely to want to “crash” into bed as soon as we get back to the hotel. We had to train ourselves to direct the boys to the bathroom as soon as we entered the room! Otherwise, it can be easy to forget to take care of the “bare necessities” when we’re exhausted!
