I have heard really good things about
Guests taking the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner to Anaheim instead of driving! It sounds like a great way to avoid sitting in traffic and enjoying a leisurely ride.
Once you arrive at ARCTIC, you can transfer to the Anaheim Regional Transportation Route 14 or 15 bus, and that will take you directly to the Disneyland Resort. You also can transfer to the
OCTA Bus Route 50 and exit at the Katella-Harbor Blvd. stop, and it will be approximately a 3 block walk to the Disneyland Resort. The great news is that you can transfer to either service for free by presenting your valid Amtrak paper ticket or e-ticket to the bus driver as you board. The trip takes approximately 30 minutes for planning purposes.
I checked the Amtrak site, and the direct bus route to the Disneyland Resort departs every 20 minutes. The OCTA Bus Route 50 operates every 20 minutes during the week, and every 40 minutes on weekends. All of these travel details are subject to change, so I do recommend checking the website prior to your trip for the most updated information. Utilizing ride share is another alternative for getting to the Disneyland Resort from the train station.
