How often does the Disney Express leave from the airport to the resort hotels? Is there a long wait to board?

    Thanks for your question!

With Disney's Magical Express there is no standardized schedule. That is because they know who is arriving, when their flight land, and what is their resort destination. They then plan on what buses they need based on the number of guests and destinations. When you arrive at the Magical Express location in the Orlando International Airport the cast members will scan you in and direct you to one of the waiting lines. That line is for a number of specific buses, typically destined for stops at 2 or 3 resorts.

I always use Disney's Magical Express, and my wait in the line has never been more than 20 minutes. If I had to estimate it, the wait times have averaged around 10-15 minutes.

By the way, the return time from your resort to the airport will be very specific, and the bus has always been right on schedule. Be sure to return to your resort for that ride on time.

If this is your first time using the service, make sure when you board the bus that you have a good view of one of the overhead television monitors. I find the welcome video that is played during the ride is great for getting my girls excited for the adventures that await them!
